Software Engineer Intern (PHP, MYSQL)

The successfully candidate will be an integral part of our development team. The engineer intern will help build tools and services to support FileJolt. Responsibilities will extend to any of our applications including both front facing applications and back-end services. An interest in web technologies from a technical and product perspective is very important.

If you are a highly-motivated, self-starter who enjoys tackling technical and business challenges this internship is for you. You will become part of a team of people that are all gadget junkies, gamers, musicians, and couch potatoes that are very passionate about the content our website provides. A passion for Technology, Games, and Music is required!

Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to structured Software Development
• Knowledge of web development techniques using PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Technical analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Has a propensity to adapt to many different facets of software development quickly and efficiently
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and techniques
• Solid organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related software engineering field
